OK, pplx... this is a pretty long entry, hope u all will bear with it.

I work in some small office, "---------------", in Golden Mile Tower near Lavender. Everyday abt 15-20 mins walk from the station, including climbing overhead bridge. {-_-"}... if want to go opposite eat lunch, oso need climb brigde. sianx.... walk till i got big blister lors!! stupid covered shoes!! The building, I can cfm is much lousier than those in shenton way one lor. However, the lift is fast! hahax... got 22 storeys, mine's on the lower level, so a bit lousy lors. =X

first day of work, Sam & I arrived at 825am, waiting outside the office. Then i suppose is Boss''s partner came earlier to open the door for us. We waited for like 15 mins before he & his staff starts strolling in. We had a seat with him, testing our accounting & auditing skills. {-_-"}... asked wat is the diff between accounting & audit & bleh bleh bleh... & after some short interview, we start doing work....

Guess wat we doing on the first day?? Not data entry or paper shredding or any admin stuff. Straight away, we start doing compling. Compling the figures from the GL, Trial Balance, P/L, B/S, into some "working papers", & then to the financial statements of the company for the accounting year. -_-" damn jia lat lors, it seems to be easy, but it's so tedious lors & got no ans de lehs!! Have to make sure the figures in the financial statements, tally with those in the notes to the accounts, & also those GL,..... figures. Worst thing is, it is done manually!!

You know ars, the office ars, only got 3 computers lors, very pathetic lors, i cant even have my own time to slack or play with it, do some data entry or wat so ever lors. howvever i haven been to the next door office yet, so i'm not so sure. =) the whole compling of figures in the financial statements of one company, took me abt 8 hrs b4 all figures tally, but i cfm still got mistakes de. Then tml he say he going to teach us abt the deferred tax thingy & sooner or later draw up BS, PL. Wow!! really a lot of things to do lors. I from 845am-1.20pm, lunch, 2pm all the way to 6pm... do & do, Count & count, Ask & ask... =X then no extra 15 mins pay given one lehs. =P

Sam & I do until so scare lors. now i keep asking myself, am i in the correct course or not. =X Manually, Manually!!! Wow, now going to reach the year 2010 already lehs, still do stuff manually, you know its very time-consuming & tedious or not. By the end of the day, i got no voice already lors. Cough & flu, no time to drink water. The office too cold already. =/

Then like sophia & karen, Sam & I oso don have our own table lors. Today is becox 2 auditors went out to meet clients, tts why we got seats to sit. When they come back, we donno where we going to sit le. But BOSS told us he cant possibly put us at the next office becox we'll have no one to guide us. & Ya, the toilet is outside the office. & hors, the toilet is worst than shopping mall toilet lors. Wa lau!! I go toilet very fussy one lehs!! Then oso got no toilet paper. Then the toilet need to take key & unlock one lors. -_-"

ok, i reached home at about 7pm. Very hungry, faster bath & eat. I think these 12 weeks I don really have the time to read ur blogs, do "regular" updates le lors. By the time i come home, eat & bath ars, i think i need a rest already lor. sit there for 8 hrs lehs, now suffering from backaches le. {-_-"}...

I donno why ars, i feel so weird lors, maybe too use to seeing dear everyday already. But, I nv miss him la!! hahax... but he very bad de lehs, morning nv sms me, then only after work call me for awhile. but still ok la. Met him on the train, & go home myself. =) i die die oso wan myself to get use of life w/o him!! at least only meet him once a week. hahax!! =P tts abt all tt i wan to say.

oh ya!! still got still got. My results arx... aiyo...
CRA: Coursework B/B+ to Exam C+
Tax: Cousework C/C+ to Exam B!!
AA: Coursewrok B+ to Exam B

Overall GPA: 3.10 from last sem, drop to 3.07 this sem!!
aiyoyo, my grades keep doing worse & worse. Jia lat la... I wan get A for Advanced Accounting one. =/ but i think i tried too hard le. =( But nvm, GPA still above 3 by a little bit. hahax... like this not contented oso muz make myself feel contented. =l
